I guess they figured people with an X-Box 360 or a PS3 wouldn't be interested. Since they're mostly hard core gamers and I get the feeling this is being aimed at kids.
But yeah, I'm not expecting anything wowing from this myself. Could still be worth a rental though

..ugh..no offense but if there is one thing i have learned from America made video games based on movies is that they always tend to be rather..bad.

Which is a shame in the old days capcom or Nintendo would buy the license and make awesome movie-based games.

Then again i would buy it to see Astro and Dr Tenma : D

Is not much but here is some features of the game from the D3 publisher site:

• Use all of Astro Boy’s powers to battle hordes of enemies and colossal bosses: super strength, flight, arm cannons, and drill attacks
• Unique 2 ½ graphics and introduce gorgeous platforming action and air combat to a new generation.
• Live the story side-by-side with 2 player co-op mode

Its just wishful thinking but I want to see the platform game become on par with the Mega Man series or Astro Boy: Omega Factor. If there is a 2 player co-op mode, then who is this other character in question beside Astro? Atlas perhaps?

I don't know about everyone else, but this game is getting even more promising to me.

...Aaaaand it's back down again.

Are those in-production pictures? Starmie-esque airbots?! Ugh, where are Atlas, Skunk and Pluto!?

I'm now worried this is going to be a shovelware game...

Looks okay to me, but I think it's a bit misleading to interweave scenes from the game with CGI from the movie...

...Frankly, it kinda looks like those Sega Saturn games with half-realistic graphics, only with Astro Boy.

Then again, I'm really not expecting much from a movie-game.

It seems to be a 3D-Gradius-like game. It can be a good game even if it is shovelware. Gradius V is very good despite a rather empty scenario, with the exception that it is waaaaay too difficult (even in very easy mode). I expect a game on Astroboy to be more balanced in this field.
