Ah thanks, I was wondering! Thanks for sharing!
Makes me wish I had collected what I could back when there were things available in the 80s. [/QUOTE]
Yes, I have been collecting Astro Boy items since the 80s, but items such as the TetsuWan Atom(u) record w/ booklet style jacket shown in this thread I obtained as recent as 2009 thru eBay. And items such as this one do show up now and again. Any way glad you liked it and I am happy to share theses images; especially I like to see your comments.

This must have been from the feature film from 1964 that is longer than the recular episode that as made in color it is available though the Osamu Tezuka 3 long stories DVD set with the New Tresure Island and (1196) Leo movie while the story isn't much diffrent it's still intresing to see more of it.

Oh wow. I just watched "The Moon Monsters" today. I saw this thread yesterday, but didn't realize that this was a sequel to that episode.
Anyway, this is cool stuff! I love seeing old memorabilia like this. Thanks for sharing!

I think this flying car is featured in one of the later opening sequences.

Actually, that feature film Astro Boy: THE BRAVE IN SPACE is three separate episodes linked together with a few seconds of unique clips. This one episode was made in color, as #56 in the J-sequence; according to the page for Tezuka's manga series Number Seven (refers to main character's ID#), was the most popular episode of the series. The B&W Atom series' page notes that it was in color.
It is nice to see Uran given a role in this. Thank you for sharing this with us, ASTROBUDDY!

Yes, that most definitely is "Tezuka sama" as one of the captives. How he got there I will never know, but it is him. (I don't think Tamao is there, though it does kind a looks like him,)
