I loved this movie and think that Brandon Lee would have been a fantastic actor if he wasn't killed on set
and yet they were able to finish the film.....If the directors of their estates allowed thier image and voice to be recreated, the sky is the limit. But, I'd still like to see REAL actors, not ghosts, playing human roles.

leave it for the asian actors to do it.
Maybe it's because alot of the main characters in Astroboy actually don't look that asian

I don't think there is any real bias to where the actors are from but simply who we think would be a good example of the charecters and how they should be portrayed. I personally am not farmiliar with lots of asian actors. The closest I go I think is Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu & Kelly Hu (I think the last 2 would be classed as American but you know what I mean). Speaking of the forever bruised Jackie Chan, if you have seen his early movies when he played a police officer, you will know what I mean when I suggest him as Tawahsi. He can have such a serious exterior but be great for comic relief. Yeah I know the look is all wrong, but you can forgive that of Jackie....can't you?????
