Was this theme ever released as part of the soundtrack? (80's series)

I checked the 1980 OST and the intrumentals on the Madman DVD collector's edition and I couldn't find it.

It's a shame so many went unreleased. There's some really good instrumentals in the series.

None of the soundtrack was released, outside of snippets of tracks taken from the M&E tracks on the madman dvd's, and the ofifical soundtrack, ive been waiting 20 years for this ost, it's imo the MOST iconic soundtrack the series has ever had, so many amazing, eirie, mystical sounding tracks, all sadly never to be released

It's disappointing because it's such a good soundtrack as well. I really hope they bring it out at some point. All it would take is just one person to bring up the idea really.

My favourite score is actually the soundtrack from the American version (the 03 series) I love the upbeat, techno vibes it has and I prefer that over the Japanese score, it just doesn't make the show the same for me. Some of the instrumentals I can just listen to on repeat, they are terribly relaxing. At least we got snippets from the 80's series - with that version we got literally nothing, other than the music released from the original PS2 game.
