Of all the Astro Boy AMVs I've seen, this one is the best I've seen.
It's very rare to see AMVs actually match the lyrics of the accompanying piece of music to what's going on on screen, but you did just that.
Excellent job.

Wonderful job! You really did match up those lyrics really well too. I saw on the other thread you posted what the odds of being a finalist were and kudos! That's really awesome!
A friend of mine went to Anime Boston this year, I wonder if she went to the AMV Contest.

Funny you should say that because the one critcism I got for it at the con was that one person believed it was too "literal." Mainly with the "inside of me" part but I believe at least some of the visuals should match the lyrics or you might as well just use an instrumental. Yet at the same time you're right. So many of the videos at the con don't follow a lot of the lyrics and I always found that strange.

How long did it take for you to do the video editing? How did you do it, what tools? That was a great job! Are you a professional video editor?
Of all the Astro series, I think I like the 2003 the best because of the way Astro is drawn and animated. It's too bad that the English dub and the pan and scan transfer to DVD destroys so much of the charm, but any AMV of Astro really should be based on this series because of how kawaii he is in this one. I think you picked some of the best clips from that series for your video.
BTW, did those scenes come from the Japanese version of the DVD's? You've got it in wide screen and I think one of the scenes was from Eternal Boy.

I don't recall exactly how long it took me (All together, probably a few months) but I used VideoPad Video Editor to make it.

It's amazing how you were able to find a matching scene for EVERY line in that song! Almost like the song was written for the video!
