**Jump** is a character introduced in the 1980s series as [[characters:Toby|Tobio]]'s dog. After Tobio's death, [[characters:Astro]] became his master. Although Jump was reluctant and distrusting of Astro at first, he later grew to accept him and joined his family. He was also mistreated by [[characters:Uran]] at first, but that was because Uran didn't understand Jump.
