Perfect actor to play Skunk in a live action film!

Postby Fasty » 14 years ago

His name is Thomas Jay Ryan, and here is a clip of him in a movie Henry Fool. The whole time watching the movie I couldn't help thinking what an awesome Skunk he'd make! What do you think?

You are /the/ only person I'd ever imagine as skunk.

It seems that Skunk was molded after Richard Widmark. Or am I confusing him for another Star System character?

However, if you ask me, I'm rooting for Jay Rath, like all the other people here, but other than him, I'd choose (and I'm dead serious about that) Bruce Willis.

I think the Richard Widmark observation is dead on!

I could see him as Skunk if a Live-Action movie ever came out. :)
That's be very interesting.

Who? Widmark, Willis, Jay or another of the guys we are discussing here? XD

BTW, your nick... I'm a very masculine guy and all that jazz, but I can't help it: Mokona is

Edit: Well, Tezuka nailed it (again): Skunk certainly looked like RW.

I'm sorry to bump an old thread but Skunk AND Richard Widmark IN THE SAME THREAD??? I couldn't resist.

Skunk was absolutely based off Widmark, or more acurately, Widmark's portrayl of the character Tommy Udo in the 1947 movie Kiss of Death.

omg just look at that face. Skunk to the max.

Widmark was disturbingly psychotic as the murdering gangster, and his maniacal giggle soon became one of Skunk's tradmarks :D ("heh heh heh!")

Fans of Skunk should check out other early roles of Richard Widmark, most especially Night and the City, where Widmark plays a two-bit hustler named Harry Fabian, and one of my personal Widmark favorites, Road House.

And Ataru, oddly enough, I can really see Willis in that role. I NEVER thought I would say that.... But Jay, you know you're the only true Skunk. The best of the best!
