The Astro Boy movie is going to kick ass. From what I seen so far, my optimism is still going strong.

When I was at the theatre seeing "Up" (which you should all totally go see), my sister picked up an issue of Famous: For Kids, which is a Canadian movie magazine. Guess what I found on the last page...

Also, one of the theatres in town now has the movie poster in their "Coming Soon" section!

Astro seems to be the only one who actually resembles his comic book counterpart. Still, looks to be an alright movie in it's own right.

I find it it very hilarious that within the 2/3 years wanting for this movie the storyline got changed to many times , first i saw a few articles that talked about Astro boy defeating aliens from other space ( this was even on the IMG website once )

Then i was on the IMAGE first website about Astroboy that it was going to be about Astro entering a underground- ilegal robot-fight tournament. Another Dutch article said Tenma was going to die and Astro was going to become a super-hero to forget the pain.

and now from all storylines the one and original was used :lol:
