Hmm. I agree, and though only having seen through ep #3, it may leave those unfamiliar with the Pluto manga & Atom in general might not appreciate it as we do. :astro:

Very FEW complaints - it really was a literal adaptation which is what I really did expect. I mourned some scenes being cut, it was inevitable due to time, but the manga still exists so nothing was really lost. Some scenes in the anime I feel hit harder than in the manga, and others in the manga. All in all it was a fantastic adaptation and cannot wait to rewatch. I watched it in the original Japanese at first and want to watch it in English next.

I opened a netflicks basic account to watch this. I had been using my daughter's account, but heard netflicks was cracking down on that. Funny, there was no way to get the tv app to switch to the new account, no feedback on the app from netflicks about this. At least I'm honest, and I can now watch on my computer or phone.
I saw the first episode. I love how they incorporated the composer and his music into the anime, that is something that couldn't have been done in the manga.
I'm also re-watching Monster. I saw that a few years ago and had forgotten some of the details.

Just watched ep #4, & noticed something that I could not recall from the manga. I will watch the entire thing again, & likely have the same impression.

I don't remember Inspector Tawashi being in the Manga. Also, they sure made the ruler of Persia look alot like Saddam Hussein.
